I get that error sometimes, too. Restarting helps. If you want to uninstall Blink, just delete the UNITS folder. |

Why? The units folder is not a part of WarCraft III. |

ill just say this, you have a stupid problem and when you figure out what you did wrong, you will probably laugh your butt off. But ill try to give you a bit of help anyway. Extract the files into an ez to find area (if desprate just extract them onto your desktop) then look into the unziped folder and you should see a units folder, and maybe some others. Now, remove these folders from the original folder (the one you unzipped) and put them on the desktop. Close the folder after you have taken them all out, and open up my computer (or whatever it is you have on there). Now you need to find the path to your wc3 game. This is mine, and if you installed it to the default area, it should be yours too. C:Program Files>Warcraft III. Now take the folders i had you move to your desktop and put them into the warcraft III folder, and that should be it. Don't remove anything from the folders. They have to be in those or the world editor wont read them. If you wanna know why heres why. In the war3.mpq theres a kind of path to every single bit of everything in there. An example would be the folders. When they are extracted from the mpq, they are put into a folder if they had somethinge before their final part (e.g. Units\human\Knight\Knight.blp). So were ever you extracted this to would not be that full name, but a bunch of folders. It would basicly be Units>Human>Knight>Knight.blp in a folder kinda format. Im having a hard time explaining, but ill try to make it even more simple. It would be Units as a folder, and inside that would be Human as a folder, and inside that would be Knight as a folder, and inside that would be Knight.blp, which is a blizzard coded thing alot like a jpeg. Well, i guess that would fix your problem, and i dont wanna hear your bitkhin that this isnt what you asked for. Do whatever uninstalling you need to do, then follow what i said step by step. |
