Clothed BladeMaster

Don't know why, but I felt like doing it! ^_^ Well, it was supposed to be a regular clothed blademaster, but I think the brown stuff ended up looking a bit like a quilted armor, which I found out to be pretty cool. Well, criticism and comments please, but don't flame. Also, any ideas would be nice. It is kinda final, but I left lot of things as they were, so if the idea is good, I could use it! :D

7/10, alpha the beads out and it'll get an 8.5 =) I think that the white parts need a bit more shading and a better transition from brown to white, maybe the brown shirt goes down further the arm and then is shaded to look like it ends and the white comes from under it. Same with the gloves. The texture is a bit repetetive, I'd prefer something more... cloth-ish. Just a bunch of criss-crosses isn't going to cut it =)

Hmmm... That's why I thought it looked a bit like quilted armor. In fact, I had a more clothish texture earlier, but I just thought it just didn't look right... And where do you think the shirt should end? I think it is just fine the way it is, but maybe it would look even better with your idea :D . Btw, I edited the beard and the eyebrows (sp?) so they would blend better with the hair (forgot to do that before :P)

EDIT: Oh, we posted at the same time, Mock ^_^ Could you be more specific?

Hehe, thx. :D Btw, forgot to ask, what are "beads"?

I was wondering if they were those... Oh, well, I already tried alphaing them out, but I couldn't... I don't fully understand the model wraping. The back and front part of the skin don't connect, even though they ends are at the same level. You can see that at the back screenshot: there is a little green patch there. I'll post necklaceless screenie later so you'll understand what I am talking about. Does anyone know up to where I can skin the back of his neck without messing the back of the head?

So...
Did you color tint the brown and white areas, and add textures with texturizer?
THat seems far too regular to be handmade.
And the old shading can be seen in the background.

Anyway...
Get something less repetitive to break up the texture.

Like I said before, could you please be more specific?

Looks very neat, but the shading on the arms is wrong, unless you want a tight fitting look. But even then, the musle shading is a bit rough and sketchy.
