Here is my WIP haunted mansion. First attatched pic is the WE one, second one is in-game, and the third one is the FIRST picture I ever made of the mansion. That means I took it a long time ago. Comments and criticsm please. I did many things to change from the first picture of the mansion I made to the last picture (in-game). First, I had to find a suitable road (round tiles), then had to find many doodads to fit the scenery. One was the ruined fountain you see in the newer pictures. This adds to the spookiness, because well, it's broken :D. Also, there is a black fog to give you the feeling of darkness and death. EDIT: Changed something to clear it up. NOTE: THE THIRD SCREENIE IS OLD! |

I must say, well done, it's kinda spooky. The third SS could use some more doodads, you should make a cinematic out of it, would be fun! :D |

I am. :D. I don't know how long it is though, and I need interior walls. And didn't you read? The third screenie is the first screenshot I ever made of the mansion (that means it's old.) |

To make interior walls there is several things you could do 1: Use the dalaran ruins tileset and use the ruined wall 2: Create very steep walls with raise and plataue then put a brick type tile on the steep walls 3: Use the sides of houses and doodads, make them large The easiest way in my oppinion is to make very steep walls You can do this by Downloading the UI text draco posted on this forum, (it is stickied) |

Nice ideas, and yeah, I have the steep walls thing Draco made. It's been very useful. I'll try your ideas, thanks for the input. |

Heh, its located in OrcBackdrop_V1. In Gameplay constants. Just create a new doodad called "Sky" based on the Mushroom and change the model to OrcBackdrop_V1 in the Gameplay constants section. The sky is even animated. Oh yeah, the scaling value should be .2. OrcBackdrop_V0 is a sunset. |
