This is for The Tale Of Archon. I only have the front of his body done. The footman sucks WORST MODEL EVER! Well this is the basic layout as of now. How does it look so far? I decided to keep the helm because so many people liked it.

considering what you say about the model, thats a helluva nice skin. It doesnt show any flaws (at least not any I can spot). Your highlights are nicely placed and the shield is absolutely flawless :D. Maybe you could spend some more time on the greyish metal parts :D

Whoa, nice!!! Really, really good, something around 9/10! Oh, one thing, how did you remove the spike on his shield?

Whoa can't believe I didn't see this new post earlier.

Looks sweet!!! ^_^

Now thats what I call a REAL Soldier of Dale!

Keep up the great work :D

EDIT: BTW, Larkas, Oinkerwinkle edited the model to have slightly better wrapping, a new sword (the sword was originally done by Raleign), and no spike on the shield. I may release the model to the public (but not the skin).

Ok its practically done. I'm not sure what else do add. I tried other stuff but they didnt seem to workout because of the model is shitty. Well got any final ideas?

Add more detail 2 the arms and feet coz they look rushed... you DnB most parts too much, PLZ dont do it coz it looses detail and makes it look very wierd with huge black smudgy things LOL...

my thoughts exactly. its way too blurry. minimize large areas of black. try doing this for example
Zoom (requires log in)

im not sure (really not) if this skin will fit into the campaign. well if the city of dale is extremely rich enough to have gold coated soldiers, imagine what knights would be like, completely covered in gold...

Good but the silver areas look kinda weird... =/

Lookin' pretty good. However the silver should be a bit smoother. I liked the brown gloves that he had before a bit better actually. But thats alright I can always CNP those back onto there if I really want to.

He does look maybe a bit too shiny. Technically Dale's colors are Silver and Blue, with just the Golden Lion. But just like with the gloves, I can always change things around a bit if I need to.

Also the feet are looking a lil' rough up front. Must be that damn wrapping :\
Anything you can do about that?
The gold areas look a little scratchy as well. Maybe smooth them out. Like for instance the shoulders, maybe you could smooth them and make a curvy line or something going through the gold.

Otherwise its looking pretty good. Especially for the sloppy wrapping of the footman model.

I'll change it up soon. Do you want me to get rid of all the yellow?

Oh not definitely not. I like the gold.

Just remove the yellow on the bottom of the feet (not the part in front around the lions, just the lower part of his feet), and maybe reduce the size of the gold area around his stomach. (I.E. maybe just make it like a small strip of gold like the ones going down the back).
