Basing a spell off of Barrage...

Hi guys. I know you can base a spell off of Barrage to make a hero's attack split up, and target multiple enemies with every attack, but I have a problem.

When using Barrage, you can enter a value for the damage each attack does. However, I want it to do the damage equal of the hero's attack damage. you know, the damage it'd normally do without that skill.

How to do this? Any help is appreciated, though if this involves triggering, please explain very carefully without too much terminology.

Use cleaving attack instead - u can pick damage factor(which is a %) and AOE(range)

but using barage would be the same as Pluck yew from TOB - i think that it still does the main damage to the original attacked unit and however much damage to each of the extra units.

Of course Cleaving attack will hit many, many monsters--and I'm not sure it works with range (never seen it done or thought to try it, anyhow).

Another alternative would be to use a bouncing attack, like the Huntress's have. But that could get into complicated upgrade triggers, depending on how your map is built.

what i mean by range is that a melee attack will splash onto whatever the range is meaning that a melee hero could indirectly be a ranged hero if the splash range is say 500 and there is another melee unit such as a footman being attack by the here. the hero will attack the footman and and unit within 500 units will have the x% dealt to it
