Hopefully Link wont mind, since this does save him the trouble of having to moderate the other thread... :-p. Basically, I want ideas for trigger-based spells. 1.) Must require triggers 2.) I reserve the right to use any spell I make 3.) Spells I make can be given to anyone whenever I please [likely will be public, anyway] 4.) I can refuse to make any spell 5.) The order spells are made may not neccesarily correspond with the order said spell was requested *Order based on interest* I plan on entering the spell making contest... so I'll likely release after the contest deadline. Spells will probably be released April 4, 2004. Spells included:

That is gravity flux with a different SFX. You can change the SFX's used when I release the map to get that. |

I have a spell idea: Name-Charge To use it you select a point on the map, the caster then charges to that point kicking dust up behind him, any units he touches take damage and are knocked over, unable to get up for a few seconds |

I've really gotten bored with the top spells, so I may end up just posting what I have and letting you work with them, though not all of them work, several arent multi instantaneous, and others don't give exp or gold. |

Vampirical Chaos - Pick all the units around the caster in an area, switch their positions at random, drain all their mana, and heal the caster for the amount of mana drained. Grip of Death - Create hands that come up from the ground and grab the target units limbs, you would probably want to use the soul steal effect. Explode the target unit, making the hands move away from the target, assumingly with the limbs of the target. Various 'Chargable' Skills, ala D2X Assassin - If you've played it you know what I'm talking about. Make it so that when the unit uses a skill on a unit, it gets the 'charged' effect, probably using the effect one of the orbs gives you. Maximum of three charges, each with different effects. If you havent played Diablo 2 then just skip this one, its too hard to explain otherwise. Tornado - Usual tornado effect, but make the units swirl around with the rotation of the tornado, and I dont mean the direction they're facing. Lifeline - Make it suck life from a target enemy unit, and give it to a target allied unit. Must use the Life Drain model, and the model has to go from the enemy unit to the hero casting it to the allied unit. Friction - Channeling ability. If a unit moves while i the area of effect of this spell while it is being channeled, it explodes. Order all units to hold position as the spell starts. Tactical Cluster Bomb Strike - Big explosion on target point, four somewhat smaller explosions at random points around the big explosion, and four small explosions around the above four. Balance - Spirit Link every allied unit on the map or in an area, as well as every enemy unit in the map/area. Any damage taken by the allied units is transfered to the enemy units, and the other way around. That's all I can think of. Its really hard thinking of these things without some kind of insiration. |

Yea, that was my favorite of them all. Also, with cluster bomb strike, make the first explosion, while biggest, do the least damage. The second do about double that, and the smallest ones more than that. |
