I felt like a change from the orc city, so im doing a freindly challenge for a mangrove sceen, for those of you who dont know what a mangrove is, its a partaily sunken forest, with low trees with large roots bundles, its flooded with salt water so little can grow at ground leval appart from mangrove trees. Heres and example of the kind of thing i was thinking of i just did in 5 mins, but any intersting takes on this challenge are welcome |

Um, i dunno realy, ive had this idea buzzing around since i did my first terrain, which a partaily sunken forest in sunken ruins, and i always imagained it would have the crops terrain, under the water, i think cos i was merging it with an image of sunken rice feilds in china in my head, ive put some patchs of dirst, sand, and small clumps of grass (spacely), since i took that sceen |

i was thinking a two week time period, starting from now i guess (i know this is kinda long, but this is sort of a small friendly challenge on the side, nothing serious, i just wanted to see other people takes on this idea), cos i cant remember exactly when i started it, and ill do a poll for the who should be the winner |

Well theres not much I can do to my current pics, should I make new ones or just leave them for people to vote on? |

I'll give this a shot. For those roots, try scaling up a world tree and sinking it into the ground a bit, making sure the roots hang out of your cliff / bank thing? PS - Someone direct me to that tree model... Is it part of the environment pack that was posted a while ago? |
