I've found something quite irritating, and I'm sure someone has the answer to my problem. When I base a hero skill off a normal skill which doesn't usually have an icon, the skill icon doesn't appear when the hero has learned the skill. I.e. I can have the icons working fine for the learn hero skill part, but there is no sign that the hero has said skill. this has happened for a skill I've based off pheonix fire and +life regen from a ring. Do I need to give the hero a dummy spell and give him the passive when it's learnt, or is there a way of getting the skill icons to show up? |

That's what I do. I have not discovered any way to give iconless abilities icons except to give the hero a dummy spell for each level of the ability. Alternatively, you can give him a multi-level dummy ability that just has an icon, and add the unit ability every time he gets a level in the dummy skill. |

Thanks a lot, I was thinking of doing the multi-level dummy ability, but the other way is much more obvious and simler, and less likely for me to mess it up lol. Well, I guess some making up of icons is in order. Cheers. |
