Well, I love the model (I've been itching to skin a pitlord!) so I decided to skin his... Well, I tried to imitate the style of armor on the pitlords, but I havent added the gold borders (I cant get em to look red enough on the sides >.<) so, the axe handle will be less monotone... Well, I freehanded everything but the face (I hate faces... I always overshade them or make the eyes uber small........) which I only recolored, and touched up a tiny bit... Anyways, the only part of the armor I will leave alone is the front of the helm alone, it looks badass close up! anyways, here it is, in its WIP glory..... |

Model is okay, just a few changes from mannorath, no actually is good but the skin is fabulous. Good work again. |

thanks :) Here is with borders... Color isnt final, but gold looked bad... I'll prolly blur and smooth it out a bit, to match with the brushes I used with the rest... Axe color changed... No details yet... I like the axe that was already made with it better... I may just use it :D (horns done too) |

wow, lookin good. :D very different from how I was planning on skinning it, so I like it! The armour looks very smooth, almost plastic-like. very kewl. And you did a fantastic job on the horns (horns are something I always have trouble with) Can't wait to see the final version. |

Both Mannorth and the Pitlord have shiney armor in the same style... well, new borders, some touchups and cleaning work, I think its okay with no details, but it desirves a new gauntlet and braicer IMHO (your opinions?) axe made by sheyd, right? |

Looking good! keep it up! |

Not feelen the color scheme so far. Change it up more |

the color scheme is ok, but it's very plain. Lots of unused space. Maybe put some bolts/studs into the armour or something... and if the yellow is supposed to be gold, you should dodge it more, make the shiniest parts totally white. I like the blood on the axe :D |

I like the skin and all...but whenever I try to import your models, Sheyd, into map editor I always get an error. :\ I dunno why but they refuse to cooperate with me. So, I can't show you how much prograss i've made on my skin. :\ |

err, the model's path should be simply "ModelName.MDX" no "/modelname.mdx" or "Units/demon/modelname.mdx" in it. Also, its unanimated so it wont work in WE anyways, use wc3 viewer.. |
| 03-24-2004, 01:32 AM | #12 |
set the model path in the Unit Editer to Units\Pit\Nathrgeddon\Nathrgeddon.mdl and then just make sure you have the files in your wc3 folder for example: C: \WarcraftIII\Units\Pit\Nathrgeddon\ as long as the files are actually in your wc3 folder, they can be seen in WE. |

yesh but with no animations, wont it show the "stand" animation which is empty? Maybe im just dumb :-P |

Much Much too plain. The armour looks like 8x8 resolution... and compared to the skin underneath just puts the whole skin out of sync. |

true, it looks very stretched on the model, but uber-smooth on the blp.. I shuda made it high-res... People, I know its plain-- what should I add?? |
