How to turn off auto attack?

is it possible to turn off auto attacking for a units, so it doesnt automatically attack enemys.

That could bring up problems, i.e. the unit shows up as an idle worker when not busy. What exactly is this for, so we have a better idea of how to help you.

Aquisition Range = 0 would prevent them from auto-aquiring units to attack

The thing is that it does not work.

And a really special workaround would be to use Akama's shadowmeld and order the unit to hide.

I think it does.... tried changing what vis the lowest value that can be put there? or used shift + enter while changing value?.... ive done this in one of my maps, but i dont remember how....

It doesn't work, you can put 0, you can put -1 , even 0.01 but the unit will still acquire targets

Just a thought, could you make a trigger that would make any unit given the 'stop' command to revert to the 'hold' command? Thus making them not auto-acquire unless within range?
