Disciple of the Moon (big pics)

Hey all. Been a long time since I attempted a skin, so pardon if I'm rusty. I gave Tides of Blood's good ol' Disciple of the Moon a shot, and this is how it turned out:









As with all of my skins, this one is regular resolution (256x256). Feedback welcome, so long as you're civil. =)

if his skin was purplr hed make an awesome night elf mage. but then that wouldint make any sence since they really dont use magic, their druids. ohh well.

Most definitely one THE BEST skins I've ever seen for the blood mage.
I've never seen someone actually make the blizzard skin look bad :8

But can you really use that skin in tob, because there is blood mage too...If they give that skin to dotm bm skin would be changed too.


It is very good skin though...like allways ;)

Thanks. =) If Cassiel and Windigo feel the skin is up to snuff they will import a second Kael model so the Bloodmage and DotM can have different skins.

Very nice adaption of the Blood Mage. The armour is very nice, kinda Wraithbone (I guess moonstone). This model has very poor wrapping, so you get extra congrats for making it look consistant. I'm not too convinced with the shoulder pads/back though, can you explain the pattern/alignments of the white scales?

Well, that's not too hard to do, imo.. But doing it while keeping a consistency with the wc3 art style takes some effort.

Very well done, Jac. The one thing bothering me is the leather straps on his legs, they look like they've been painted on (which happens to be true, of course, but that's no reason why they should look that way :8 ). Still, they add variety and I don't think I'd remove them. I'd try improving them, though. But that's just me.

Wow you do so good on his chest which wraps horrible. The entire skin is great. Your icons are always on another level. They seem very animeish. damn everyone has college talk I'm just going to high school :( That sucks that you got no dough for college. What do you do for a living currently then?

I know, it's so... proportional... his chest is pure crap.

I'll try to touch up the leather straps on his legs. They do have highlights and a shadow beneath them, but they're so dark it's next to impossible to see the shadow cast as-is (because they're nearly the same value).
How could I do that? =) It's just silvery plate overlaying shiny purple/blue plate in various jagged patterns. It's one of the only parts of this skin I actually enjoy. ;\
