Photoshop filters.

Well i used to use alot of W3m map utilities even for icons it had one of the easiest programs ehehe. Ofcourse after teh last upgrade we all kno everything it had exsept Image Extractor crashed and doesnt work anymore
i have Photoshop 7.0 but i am not quite used to filters
BTW. its students edition.

so is there like a filter to make it darker? like all teh disabled icons?

There isn't a filter. But it's pretty easy to do.

Make a new layer over the layer with the icon. Fill it with solid black, drop the opacity of the layer to around 50 or so. Adjust it to your taste. then merge the layers and save.
