Ok I just got the newest version of WEU no limits to stick in my rpg which has run out of space for hostile units/trees/doodads etc. I got it working and there were unlimited things. Soo i edited it buut when I went to play it and it finally loaded It immedielty booted me from the game to the score screen (like if a host leaves in a bnet game) but my screenname and the computers' screennames had all changed to.. 'mapstealer'... I didn't steal my own map and all the older versions of it work fine.. I don't know what caused this but has this ever happened to anyone else? |

lol. are you sure you got the no limits here? are you sure you didn't download the exclusive virus version? sigh... sry i said that. well, maybe you DID steal ur own map. we need some witnesses. well, my verdict says you DID steal ur own map. sigh... the point is that i didn't even know WEU NO Limits had that feature. perhaps it was a bnet downloaded map or another map that had an imported file as an .exe (virusses r .exe) and found out how to run it when you run the map (not such a bad idea if its possible). and it makes it so that the next time u open up the .mpq it virusses you! or maybe u downloaded a map that was titled something like: mysuperfuntftmap.w3x.exe otherwise ur lying just to get a discussion and if u are i don't hate u, we're all bored sometimes... |

I guess i must have protected the map without knowing it.. geh.. :\ anywya this is my first map soo i have no experience with protection.. I don't recall hitting any 'protect map' buttons or doing anything to protect it. Guess ill be working from the old version and try not to protect it again. o_O thanks for helping everyone. (sarcasm incase you didnt know) |

You'd be lying about it being your map. Protectors don't do that, and you'd remember if you protected it. Please, don't insult our intelligence. Also, your need to triple-post is disturbing. CLOSED |
