Basically WC3Sear.ch's Icons were mostly defunct (ie the downloaded icons wouldn't show), so I've gotten to saving the 'preview' pictures as bitmaps (.BMP) and converting them to .BLP with WarCraft III Viewer ... the problem is, I tell it to insert an alpha channel, but whenever I start up the game or pause it, it suddenly turns green! Is there any way I can modify a .BLP to have the disabled icon as its alpha channel, thus preventing this & making it work properly like the other icons? |

Its not the alpha channel, its because you need a disabled button for the icon. There is a folder for disabled icons, make a grey one of it and put it in the folder and add DIS in front of it. |

Well, ive added custom icons to my map and the pause green thing was fixed for me by adding the DISBTN buttons. |

Can you describe the process you took trying to use the downloaded icons? I can't imagine why all the icons wouldn't work in your map, so there might be something minor that's causing a problem for you. Hopefully, if we have an in-depth description of how you imported and referenced them, and how you created the .blp's from your screen captures, we can figure out where the problem is. |

i had this problem too. The problem is you need to save it as a .tga file with an alpha channel, then convert it. I don't know why but I had a similar problem where I exported .blps in bmp's and when i imported them again they were green, but it works with .tga |
