.Movs are MOVIES, NOT sounds! I'm afriad what you are asking for is impossible. |

geez..... Learn something before you post. .mov are movie files yes, but they are also a popular way to save music files. What I want is the music from my .mov file. There are some converters, but they are $25 so I ain't gonna buy somethin that expensive for just a one time use. |

You should learn things as well, Narwanza. ;) You don't need to pay money to extract the sound - it's very easy to do. All you need is a sound recording package (e.g. goldwave) and to change one setting in Windows. It's all explained in my tutorial, which you can access for the low, low price of $10.99*! http://savage.samods.org/tut02.htm (*Not!) |

Thanks magic. Now I can do anything like this. I have a question though. I used Audacity and I got some bad sounds when it got loud. Like my speakers had been blown out, but they aren't. Is it just Audacity, or would it do that in any recorder. The original doesn't have that nasty tone quality when it gets loud, it just gets loud. |

I am pretty sure that would be Audacity... |

Hmm. Try Goldwave or Cool Edit, and see if there's a difference. Could be anything (settings), but it's beyond my knowledge. :o |
