Animated Sky

Ok I understand that the Orc, etc backdrops doodads found in game interface have animated skys. But how do you move it so that the sky is perpendicular to the ground and not floating up above where you have to rotate the camera below ground to see it? Also how would you like remove the orc figure and those rock structures?

How can you rotate other doodads and not just like spin them around? I know its like one of the rotation ones either fixed rotation, max roll angle, or maximum pitch angle but which one(s) is it?

P.S. I also posted a question about the shrubs in my Environment Pack Import Problem thread. I read the read me and made the variations but it still doesn't work. O and thanks to anyone and everyone that helps with my questions.

Not sure... maybe lower it beneath the ground? (Ctrl+PageDown) or maybe set the max roll to 360 or whatever and then place it on a slanted terrain thus changing the angle of the sky. Dunno.

I saw Pure Death use it for his haunted mansion thing, but I don't know how he did it. O and my doodad rotation question was based off of Pheo's Tri-X and Quad-X thread about rotating the rock spires but I don't know which of the angles he edited. And whether or not you can rotate it so that the doodad is totally horizontal or even if you can like flip it upside down which would probably help with making stalagtites if you could.

Its the Max angle field in the object editor for doodads.

You could try it Im not sure about the result in this case.

Yes, I put the animated sky's scaling value to .25, and then I used Pg-Down to lower it underground, hidden by trees. The only drawback is that you probably can only have one camera where the sky is.
