Is there anyway that a player owned unit can appear like a hostile unit to the enemy? Example: Pig owned by Player 1 is seen by Player 6(enemy). THIS IS NOT A TRIGGER FUNCTION, JUST AN EXAMPLE. |

Not sure what you're looking for exactly... Do you mean you want the user's unit to seem to the computer players like it's on their side? Or do you mean you want the user's unit to seem to the computer players like it's hostile to them?... I don't quite get it, either way. To make a human player's unit not provoke a computer player's units to auto-attack, either the two players have to be allied or the unit's got to be invisible. Otherwise, the computer will always see the unit as hostile, as far as I know. |

I should of been more clear. Say a player has a critter unit (ex: a pig). If an enemy player scrolls over the unit with the cursor, the name of the unit appears overhead. (like a hostile critter). If you want to try to help me, open the editor and make a test map. Make a critter that belongs to neutral hostile, and give yourself a unit. Test the map and try to understand what I mean. |

That's a toughie. I might be tempted to make a bunch of neutral hostile units with vertex invisibilty and no attack and have them glued to the players' units... Messy. There's definitely no GUI event for detecting when the user hovers the cursor over something. Nor is there an easy way to get at the little panel that pops up over a unit's head. I dunno dude. Good luck though. |
