Story so far:
Starts off after the incident on Tallon IV
Samus leaves and recieves a distress call from a space station:
Space Pirates.....under attack....need......help.....
Samus heads for the space station where a battle is ensuing. The space pirates have docked their massive vessel to the space station. The security is holding them off for a while...campaign starts.

People I'm looking for:
UV Mapper: neccessary to unwrap my models so i can skin them.
Spell/Jass maker: needed for special effects
Animator: needed to animate my models
Skinner: unneccessary, i just needed an extra one.

EDIT: looking for animator
EDIT 2: also looking for a tile set maker

Looks kinda high poly. With things like those little wings, the easiest and safest way is just to make two big triangles, cross them, and place your missile over it. That way 4 wings take only 4 poly's (2 2-sided tris) and won't smooth with the rest of the missile like they appear to be doing now. You can also adjust the number of sides of the missile (4 should be enough for the item, since it's small, otherwise 5 could do. the missile actually being fired could even be 3 sides) without having to readjust the wing position every time.

Also the hood: I see a small layer of poly's connecting the thicker hood with the thinner base. You should just remove that layer and lower the hood a little to overlap the base. All those kind of little things will add up to saving tons of poly's eventually, if you look for such shortcuts with both small and big models. (just because a model is small, doesn't mean it shouldn't be low poly, right?)

looking forward to what's to come. I'm a big metroid fan (although I'm not familiar with the ultra64 one.. But I play the snes version once a year at least, a little vacation to zebes)

Be sure to add those cave-critters which give metroid caves their flavor. I don't know their names, but you know, those spikey ones, and those crab-like things flying from the ceiling, stuff like that. Should be awesome. And big bosses like Ridley and the motherbrain of course. What's metroid without them? Or without metroids for that matter. Yeah, cool stuff :D

Right now I'm too busy with my hobgoblin project, but I might be interested to do some stuff when I'm done (which is in two weeks hopefully). although only if it includes putting my modelling skills in action (so skinning only would not do).
You use milkshape right?.. you really should get your hands on 3dsmax 5..
