Field Multiboard

I've been working on the field multiboards that allow you a lot of thing like using item,magic and skill, equip weapon,helm... see each character status, change party and option.
This is a slow job but I already made 4 of the 8 multiboard.
Here's the screenshot of those finished multiboard.

Note: The option board is subject to change, I will either add or remove some options. The language option is dummie :P

how will the weapon/item thing work?

You select the character, then the type(weapon,armor...) then the specific gear.

The equip system is mostly done :) It took me 3 days of work to concept it but everything is fine now. At the moment, only the helms are done but it wont be long to adapt this to Weapon,armor,gloves and accessory. Its time for the boring part...

What is MDf and MAt stand for?

MDf = Magic Defence
MAt = Magic Attack

All those code will be explained in a huge in-game tutorial.
Note that some gear name/description/modifier might change.

I just edited the system, I forgot to show how many gear were left... Its done now.
I also removed the "Character must be in the party to change his equipment"

Anyway, im kinda proud of this system.

it does look & sound like a lot of work, but it sure makes the game much more anticipated! Keep it up(, but don't take too long ^_^ )

I need help with the weapon names. Each character have unique weapon (5 each) except for one character(he cant wear any gear).
So I need help with some name(this must have been a problem since the start of the project).
I need 5:
-Swords(beside: broadsword,long sword,iron sword,diamond sword,mythril sword)
-Gloves
-Rods
-Staffs
-Knives

Helping me getting some name would speed up the process.

Do you need standard-swordnames(short sword, bastard sword) or special swordnames (firesword or something like this)?

Sword: Bastard-Sword, short sword, waved sword, two-handed sword
Gloves: leather gloves, iron gloves, wood gloves (not really)
Rods: Short rod, magical rod, rod of the dead
staffs: (whats the difference in rds and staffs?)
knives: eat-knife, poison-dagger/-knife

I need some special sword yea
one character has longsword(broadsword) abd another has more special sword.
maybe this: Sword, Waved sword, Double-edge sword, Fire sword, Ultima weapon)
Should I say Double-edge or Two-handed?

White mage use rod and black mage use staff. Staff got magical power in 'em but rod doesnt.

Sword: Zweihander
Gloves: Runic Gauntlets
Rod: Ultima Wand
Staff: Ancient's Staff
Knives: Kris

Hmm, I dont think it is such a difference to call it double-edged sword or two-handed sword, both works for me.
Else I cant think of some good names for rod and staff, will post some later!

*note that diablo2 is an awsome weapon naming game*
Sword: Broad sword, Flameberg, GiantSword, Claymore
Gloves: Chain Gloves, Riveted Gloves, Gauntlets
Rods & Staffs: Gnarled Staff, War Staff(scepter), Iron Staff
knives: Kris, Iron dagger, Throwing knives...
Helms: Cap, iron helm, assault helmet, mask, spirit helm

The Diablo series will have great easy-access names for generic/'unique' weapons and equipment, while Final Fantasy weapon and equipment names are more inbetween (Flametongue, Icebrand, Liquidsteel, etc). The FF names are a bit more fun sometimes because the name tells you what it does as well as what it is. Those i mentioned are ofcourse all swords, and two of them often appear in the FF series (I have only seen Liquidsteel in FFX because it's the only one i beat legitemately). I'm pretty sure I can find an eq list for FFX and maybe some other games. So look at each paticular weapon and decide if it needs a 'short sword, longsword' name, 'Flametongue, Liquidsteel' name, OR a unique-Diablo kinda name.
All this goes for the equipment too. Example Leather gloves (bleh), Gauntlets versus Lucid Gauntlets, Pheonix Shield.

Please ask me to clarify anything I stumbled over too strangely; but if you would like to specify which type you want we can make better choices more specific to what you're looking for. Good luck!

PS- Good move on the camera option, i love the pan style; but i'm sure others hate it as much as i hate a 'locked' camera :)
