Hi, Ive got a few simple AI scripts for my map, and I was wondering how I could make them more intelligent. First problem is that my Ai basically just patrolls around its town centre, if it is given a command it will go slightly towards the order, then go back. Would making the building not of "town center" type fix this? Secound is when an ally gives it a command it will do or half do the command, but usually it gets a mind of its own and will patroll home do something totally random. Is there anyway I could make it so that it will fully do what an ally tells it to? |

Not that I would know but I think Andy's AMAI has a feature that allows you to make your own AI very efficiently. Looks like it has nice pretty scroll bars etc etc. amai.wc3campaigns.com Sorry if I'm just being an idiot though :\ |

I dont think that would rly help as my map isnt rly melee, so it doesnt really need the amai features. Although the commander type thing is probably relevant for what I want, as my AI is basically just a filler in, to even up teams etc So essentially it is a slave to uits human ally, its only real job is to micro its hero. |
