Ok, i imported an MP3 into my map, and i went to the sound editor and decided to try it out, when i pressed play, it showed me a message that read: "This does not appear to be a valid file". Well, i had downloaded the song along with 3 others, those others also gave me the same results. I tried to attach the zip with all 4 songs, but it wouldn't let me so i shall attach them indivutaly, can anyone tell me why they won't play in WE? (I tested them on my comp, they play fine.)

-It has to be 128 KBPS or more to be accepted by WC3.

-If you have ran the Test Map feature, the sounds will be removed due to a bug in WE (I think).

-Make sure you import them, then import them into the other sound area (The right-handed side of the Sound module).

Get Music Match JukeBox or something else thats what I use to convert and convert it. KBP are what ever is the sound quailty. I don't know much about sound. Musicmatch is free, but there is a upgraded version. I use it to convert sounds. http://www.musicmatch.com/download/f...t&DID=&OEM=MMD

KBPS = KiloBytes Per Second, basically it means the quality of the sound

Sorry to chip in here but it is in fact Kilo BITS per second. Or it would have a size 8 times of what it is now. :)

Also the not loading music bug in the test map feature has been fixed a while ago.

Probably not, winamp can ID it easily. And on most players it is listed at the top around the time played display.

@Magic: I don't know wich one it was off the top o my head.

So lets see, i followed all 3 steps above, it is 128 kbps, i didn't press test map, and i added the song to the thing on the right, so why won't it play?

I clicked on "Use as music" and it added it to the menu thing on the right, but it's length as "0:00". What the heck is wrong?
