I made a hero that has a Bear form to morph to. I have it morphing back and forth fine, but is there a way to have certian skills on the reg hero, and others on the bear form? |

Isnt the bear form just another unit? couldnt you add spells to that? If not, then you could create another spell modeled off of , say, bear form of a DOTC. Then you could give the normal unit some skills, and the bear unit some different spells. hope that helps. |

Well, I could do part of that. I want the hero to be able to use the ability at lvl 6 which is no prob. But when he morphs into the bear, I want him to be able to learn skills as well like have him lvl 6 Druid, and Lvl 1 bear. I mean I could do that via replace triggers, but I really would not like to use the triggers, I dont need extra triggers if they arent needed. Mostly what I would like is when the Hero transforms into the bear is to be able to have the hero be able to learn abilities and such. |

Then just give the bear form some abilities. |

Try giving the bear some learnable abilities and try to learn them, I cannot. It just gives the bear the abilities that the hero had, that is not what I want |

You'll have to do replacement triggers, then. If you want to make it flawless, be sure you save control groups and variables before hero swap. |

No, hero replacement things no way, that removes the hero and creates another one, the best would be to first save the hero in a variable, then hide the hero, and show an already hidden metamorphed version. |

Try using "storm, earth and fire". The new unit won't be a hero, won't have items and such, but it can be a completely different unit with new abilities, attacks etc. |

But isn't Storm, Earth and Fire on a timer like Avatar? Bear form lets you stay that way till you manually revert back I think. |
