Console Model attachment removal.

Specifically, I need to remove the attachment point for the bottom-leftmost UI button in the Console GUI model. I'm trying to make it impossible for the user to click on the build button, y'see, so I reckon removing the attachment point should do the trick. I'm stumped on how to do this, since I use a Mac and can't get milkshape, or any of the other .mdx editors available. Would someone with time on their hands perform this simple request, or at least point out how I could manage it myself?

which model file are you referring to exactly? What path exactly?

You know, I can't actually find it myself in the 'game interface' dialog... I have to presume it's somewhere in the archive listfile... let me check. I'm guessing UI\Console\Human\HumanUI.mdx, from war3.mpq.
I just hope this isn't one of those files loaded from the game cache... but that's a different issue. Thanks for the hand.

why don't you just remove the build abilty from the peasent in object manager?

Plus I checked, none of the console MDXs HAVE any attachment points.

Blast. Well that just blows it.
As for why I want to make it impossible to click on the build structure button... well. It's a long story. I want the particular unit to to be able to place structures, I just don't want the user to be able to access them. (I need to have more buildings in the menu then will fit in the dialogue box.) I've rigged up a system of dummy abilities to order building placement instead, using UI hotkeys and scrolling buttons etc. And I don't want the *real* building menu interfering with the dialogue.
Might it be possible to modify the UI model in such a way as to cover up or block that particular tile? As in, there was a part of the model that was 'physically' in the way when you clicked?

I've checked, but there doesnt seem to *be* a specific 'build' ability. There's a repair ability, but that's not the same thing. If you add anything to the list of 'Techtree-structures built', the 'build' ability appears. There seems to be nothing you can do about it. It's hardwired.
