... damn...

that's awesome!... that facial structure seems familiar for some reason... wolverine?

Eh... sorry if the invitation was less than cordial, that's an awesome piece of work.

What kind of weapon is he holding? And how long did it take you to make that picture?

the weapon is just your regular hammer mace thing. actually i wanted to have any weapon that wasnt a sword. started a little after new years, finished about march 2nd working on and off. it was originally meant to be the cover of a novel but it fell through so i have left it unfinished without a background.

its a good pic...

He was banned for flaming, spamming, bashing, and whatnot, the same as every million times we give him a chance and he doesnt accept it...

We? Mr September 2003 is involved with the chance giving?

Anyways, Its kinda pointless to critque a banned members art, but its kinda odd how he is holding the weapon. It would look fine if the fabric at the end was actually solid and part of the weapon, but its weird that he's holding it sideways and straight up. That would be extremely tiring and awkward. Other than that, looks pretty good.

again, i know its pointless to critique it, but to show support of the new changes going around, ill critique it anyway!

In the head shot, ill say that the piercing looks out of place (eyebrow piercings are not something of the middle ages or any fantasy book ive ever seen), and the face looks stretched.

The hair could be improved, (at least at the edges) by using a camel hair brush brush setting (available in painter, i dont know if in photo shop) for that would give it a more natural look IMO. again in the hair there are some highlights on top that look grainy, natural hair has a muted sheen when that greasy, and that sheen is lacking, over all the hair looks a little flat.

the lighting on the horses cover (?) looks very dynamic, but a little inconsistant, especially in the shadows it casts on the hooves of the horse.

Armor on the shoulder of the arm holding the hammer has odd shadows, the lighting seems to be coming in the rest of the pic from the left side of the pic just a little in the foreground, but on that shoulder the light appears to be coming more from the foreground, straight ahead of the rider.

As the others have said, the hammer is off, just plain and simple. The metal handle should be smooth, or at least have a consistant design to the shape. The head of the hammer should align with his arm, not be perpendicular. the ribbon off the hammer doesnt have very much lighting at all, looks incredibly flat compared to the rest (and i think that that should be one of the most dynamic aspects of the picture)

Again, i could never do that pic (at this time) so im sure most will discount a lot of what i said, but im trying to be a better commenter!
