hmmm... I would say that the hand that is holding the spell book is better than the one that is holding the staff. The right ankle (his right ankle) needs to have some sort of indent or the foot needs to be bigger. Widen the foot out to correct the problem. icbm1987 |

pretty good but i think hes a little short for an elf |

indeed, elves are tall and graceful, right now i think the issue i have with it is the size of the head, it makes the rest look smaller. If you were doing a more cartoony style, they the head proporiton would be more appropriate, but there isnt anything you can do about it now, so just keep that in mind next time ^_^ |

Yeah, I know the head's a little big, but I'm just going to leave it, being too lazy and instilled with a fear of overcorrection. The hands? I actually thought the left hand looked better than the right. But I haven't had any art classes in 6 years, so I'll take your word for it, icbm. What would you do to fix it? Widen the foot? Okay, since I still need plenty of practice at doing hands, legs, and feet. |

i think that the staff hand looks more realistic but is too large, and the book hand is not as realistic, but is the right side. i would try to put a little more dramatic shading on the boots too. |

very nice staff and the simple cloth design is wel drawn. altough as u might have been told he is VERY disproportioned like u c it RIGHT away at first glance. Now in details his left hand looks stiff and squarish unlike his right hand which is very good. And lets say hes a dwarf his feets are still too small. the shadin is good so id say u shud improve ur proportions... look up anatomy books and stuff. |

It isn't anatomy's fault so much as mine anyway; sometimes I see the errors as I draw, but become too lazy to mess with them. I am trying to correct this (and the Jungle Troll), though. Revisions should be posted on Monday. |

i've noticed you are quite skilled pol... u are. an elf can get away with a haircut like that, and the staff is really cool. only where you going for a warcraft guy in specific? becouse i'm sorry but it doesnt carry that warcraft feel with it... not that it matters much, its a nice pic... |

He's supposed to have a slightly priestly look, despite being a wizard, and I wanted his clothes to be equiped for travel. Check the top of this thread! I've updated the mage! |
