Hey Everyone - Decided to start my first serious terrain attempt and could use some feedback- The city is incomplete (the shots hide that) so I'll post more shots as I go along. ((( EDIT - NO TGA's - SAVE AS JPG) |

wow ^^...thats very creative. i like it becuase its not the conventional blizzard terraining. the colors throw you off a bit tho...are you considering skinning some of those buildings to look more "humanish" overall gj tho...7/10 for first one and 8/10 for 2nd one.. flames' |

Interesting, but why did you use the orc sentury tower instead of the noraml human one? Nice timeing btw, 1 & 1/2 hours before the site might go down [edit] OK i was dewped *shuffels feet* |

Heres some more shots of the human town (near completion now). I used the orc century tower model bc I wanted to give the fortress an "earthy" feel, also the model just plain rocks. :) EDIT BY BEAM I changed them to jpeg for you. If you read this thread, it tells you how to save as .jpg and such. |

Its not hard at all to change it to jpg... just open it up in paint, then under file type choose jpg... Good pics though. I especially liked the last one. Definately a creative way to use barrels. |

Hm... not bad. The second screen is the better of the two in my eyes. You could improve on that one by putting some walkways in between the two rows of barrels. To be more clear, instead of having three rows of barrels, get rid of the row in the middle, and in its place put a walkway of legless tables and then you'll have the barrels as these walls and crenellations. It'd look more real. I hope that's clear enough. It's hard to explain stuff like this. |

Hmm I have an idea of what your saying Beam, I agree the barrels look clumsy with 3 rows. |

The last picture you posted with the towers in the back looks a bit strange. There are too many of them in one area. You might need to space them out a bit and use walls or something in between instead. |

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Remove some of the towers; there's too many. And the other picture is too dark for me to get any detail out off.. But they are good pictures |
