well, I'm teaching myself how to geoset merge... I'm trying my first by giving the sorc the eredar Warlock's shoulderpads. Well, I've sucessfully gotten them onto the model and such but I have these problems: -I change the "objectid" on the geoset to "4" (thats the texture, right?) and added a 4th "textureID". It wont convert after I do this :\ -The shoulderpads only show on her attack animations and float over her head.. Is there any way to get them into the right place, and work in all anims? I'm thinking some bone editing, but i was told bone wouldnt matter :-P can anyone help me with these? Thanks! |

Hmm, what did you change to 4? You should have changed the matrices to 4. To get it exactly right it will take a while. It took me 3 hours yesterday to put the Archmage's head onto the priest without any gaps. Just play around with the matrices. Also, down the bottom is not where you put the textureID, but the materialID, you need to c,n,p the material that uses that texture (usually the first one), and then change it to the value of the texture (0, 1, 2, 3, etc.) Just play around, it really helps if you have 3ds max. Maybe post the model here so we can look at it. |

I'd attach the shoulders to the chest Bone (using the Chest ObjectID as the Matrice number for the shoulders.) It'd be easier just to edit the shoudlers vertices to look like the Eredar. |

yeah, but I dont have 3ds or any 3d editing stuff that I can import and export without loosing animations (actually, i cant even import, only export..) I've heard theres a Gmax plugin I can use, linkage? Alright, when I find time to, ill do what you guys told me to. If it doesnt work, ill post the .mdl :-P |
