I think you'd be better off Grey Scaling everything but the face/hair and then retoning the gold trim, and smoothing it out with dodge/burn/blur.

looks very whitehornish. You shaded wrong tho it looks like shadow is coming from everywhere.

So your advice is to easy up on the strong shading and pay more attantion as to where to place it?

it axtually looks alfred-ish, cause its a bit messy around the shadows :)

it looks good, but I dont like the shoulderpads.

I'm talking more about the texture and the amount that he burned looks like whitehorns. The messy shadows is kinda like alfred.

So would it be better if i added small colored details, larger different colored areas?
