I know I've posted a "Help Wanted" ad on the forums before, but it was in some obscure part of the forums and before the site had an upgrade.. so here I go requesting help again. The campaing is actually a group of 6 campaigns in which you play as some new races (more or less.) The first one is a mercanary campaign (or creeps rather,) the second is a race called the Bogey Men (some new skins and models), the third will be an Undead campaign (with a few new stuff), the fourth features a race of Lizardmen and Furrywomen (an anthro army), the fifth being yet another Demon race, and the final episode will be more of a RPG with map linking (if I ever get that far.) I don't garuntee any particularily fancy spells at the moment, as I am still contemplating on how to balance everything out. Also, the story will not be taking place in the workd of warcraft. On the plus side, I won't be butchering someone else's story... on the down side, you'll have to get to know another story line. To give you a brief overview of the story, here's a little teaser so to speak...
When we're children, our parents tell us stories about a Bogey Man to frighten us into obedience... but they never mention how anyone of us can grow up to be that Bogey Man. One boy grew into that monster, and our Council wisely sent the beast into the wild, to live a life of exile. That is, until he arrived in the poisoned lands... a realm cursed with Demon plagues, where only the twisted mutant breeds survived. There, The Beast promissed to bring an end to their torment, and end to those who shunned them... and an end to times. The Demon world seeing the rage in the youth building chose him as their favored champion among the mortal world, and was given unrivaled powers from the great abyss. The Beast became their God, and lead a unified army of bogey monsters to lay waste to the country side, leaving nothing but ruin in their wake. A long war was fought, and many lives were lost, until at long last the Council had the Beast trapped and isolated from his followers. With their combined powers, mages from across the world would unite and seal the Beast in a prison. Unable to destroy him without scorching the earth, they would have to leave him within his prison for centuries, until they knew what was to be done about his final judgement.
And to this day he sleeps there, until one would be foolish enough to awaken him from his slumber... Ok, that's sort of what it's about. I've left it vague on purpose, as the plot unfolds and characters develop as you play along. But just so you know what all this gibberish means, hears exactly what the main features of the campaigns will be. Mercanary Race (STOATA) A playable race featuring, Furballs (new), Gnolls, Kobolds, Ogres, Furbolgs, Razormanes, Goblin Sappers, Goblin Shredders (modified), Amazons (new), Dragons, Zeppelins (modified), and Valkyries (new.) Spells are still being taken into consideration, though I am hoping to get an ability for the Dragons to work in which they morph their color thus changing their abilities. Upgrades are so far for the most part completed. Bogey Men A playable race, pretty much made from scrath. Units include Slaves for working, Zealots as basic infantry, Watchers as basic long rage and scouts, Thrashers as calvary/centaurs with a spiked carapace upgrade, the Godless and Heartless and Faithless as spell casters, a typical bloody Ballista for siege, Nightmares as vicious flying units, Screamers for spell casting air support, Sludge Monsters for.. weird.. poison support if that makes sense, and improved Faceless Ones to cause some trouble. The buildings are called Gargans, which work much like Ancients (new skins.) The hero roster includes the following: The Concubine: Archer type, whos spells are still under consideration. The Possessed: Mystical Hero, with the ability to use a shackles spell, make corrupt treants, spew out vomit, and summon giant tentacles. The Slayer: A cunning hero with windwalk, durnkenbrawler, shadowstrike, and reincarnate... for the moment. The Fanatic: A warrior hero with war stomp, command aura, a storm bolt type move, and Tides of War (much like stampede except with mines.) Inki-Zokara Race: This race features anthro lizards (males) and furries (females.) All new models n' junk. Units include Braves for infantry, Hunters for archery, Raptor Riders for calvalry, Crocmelions for an combo of unusual brute force and "hunting" support, Witches for offensive spells, Priestesses for defensive spells, Forest Striders for counter spell casting and additional missle support, Pteradon Gliders, Flying Squirrels (don't laugh,) and glorified Dragon Spawn. Hopefully I'll throw in a fox-taur thingy later on. The hero roster includes... The Matriarch: Mystical Hero that can cast Crushing Wave, Monsoon, Frost Armor, and Tornado. The Inki Shaman: Warrior Hero that can cast healing wave, chain lightning, Bash, and Divine Ward which creates a giant ward that heals allies grants additional armor to allies and attacks enemies. The Feral Huntress: Cunning Hero that uses Shocking Arrows, Mana Burn, Lightning Nova, and Tranquility. The Forgotten Chieftain: Warrior Hero that can use Fire Breath, Howl of Terror, Endurance Aura, and Fire Storm (needs some fixing.) Please note the Demon race is still under brainstorming, but a few new skins will be in store fo' sho'. That is I think the gist of what is to come. What I'm looking for is any help possible. I hopes to find anyone who has any skills whatsoever at triggering, terraining, cut scenes, spell editing, skinning (the least needed for now), modeling (ecspecially merging), and anyone who would just like to help come up with good quest or trigger ideas and the sort. I myself, am learning as I go. I've begun work on the first few maps, and have put together a Trailer map in hopes of luring people into joining. As soon as I think it's ready, I'll post it up. But if anyone would like to help be apart of something, send me an e-mail and I can give you more info. Thanks. |

What are the jobs offered? |

As mentioned, any help is appreciated.. in fact I don't care too much if your an expert or not (seeing as I'm limited in some areas myself.) But jobs I'm looking for are... Terrain - anyone who can help add some flavor to the visuals Triggers - Anyone who is fairly competent in meddling with triggers. Anyone who would have some great ideas for traps and other quest events, do throw out some ideas. Spells and Abilities - Though not needed desperately, anyone who would like to help come up with new spells would be appreciated. I have some new ones already, but they're not ecspecially "ground breaking" or innovative. Skinning/Modeling - The vast bulk of my models and skins are complete (or in the 99% range.) However, they can always be improved. I am also looking for someone competent in the art of geoset merging. I'm most needing someone who can add tentacles (like from the sludge monsters) to a Hero and Werewolf model. Also, I need a spikes on some centaur models... the carapace buffs and attachements have been stubborn. Something not needed, but would be a nice touch, are tails for my "Lizardmen" and "Furrychicks." Cinematics - If you like making dramatic camera angles and know your way around dealing with cinematic triggers, I'll definately have something for you to work on. Anyone who wants to help... well.. I don't know what I can give you in return, other than credit for your work, but I'll come up with rewards I'm sure. ^_^ BTW: As a word of caution, so far the campaign file is fairly large in size, due to the fact it has so many imported skins, models, and some mp3s. What's been done so far: A prolouge cinematic that needs some fixing (timing and lag.) The first mission, simple journey type quest with some side quests. The second mission, which includes an obnoxious "zelda trade sequence" and the possibility of losing control of your Hero at night. |

I'll help with cinematics, if I can in any way.Whenever you want, you attach the file with this thread and I'll download it. I would need to know what you want too. |

Inki Tribesmen with Xil-Jan the Inki Shaman. Forgotten Inki Tribes with Nob-Odi.. not that great of a shot Zokara: the furry chicks a spoke of.. pretty simple models Beast with Bogey Heroes Some of the main heroes .Inki-Zokara Army .. boats are just for scenery.. for now. That's all for now, but there's many many more units |
