Burrowed and Invisible units.

Ok, so I was looking at some True Sight like abilities when I noticed you can set the detection type. You can set an ability like this to see invisible units, burrowed units, or both.

I was curious about the burrowed units part. I tested the crypt fiends burrow ability with a gem that could only see invisible units. I was able to see the fiends, and I wasnt able to see them when I had it set to only see burrowed units. So burrowed fiends are considered invisible.

What are really burrowed units? If it is like a whole nother invisible type where I could saayy... have only certain units be able to see these burrowed units ever, how do you make a unit considered burrowed? If its just some technical thing and doesnt do anything that I would want just ignore this.

Thanks for responding, but that doesnt really explain anything. I mean Ive tested a burrowed fiend and its considered invisible, and not burrowed.

A burrowed fiend does not have to be stationary btw.

you arnt exactly helping alpha, anyway it could be that the burrowed/invisable detection thign was rolled into one at some stage during devolpment and the see burrowed option is just redundant

but if that was true why arent they seen when a gems set to only see "burrowed" units?
