Basically, I've put some of the harder triggers into a map and now I want to know if I should make it Multiplayer or Single Player. I prefer single player maps with a story. What do you guys/girls think? Tell me whether you like story in maps or just like to go do stuff also plz. |

single player without any storyline is the worst! whats fun with that! But multiplayer without any storyline CAN be funny, when some people do multiplayer rpgs they just put in some storyline and then its just the same old one way rpgs with nothing happening, you just walk and kill creeps untill you come to the final boss or something (erm LOTR??). But when you do a rpg like that with no or little storyline and just the same 1way kill creep rpg, then absolutely no1 would play that map. I played a map called Ragnarök or Ragnarok, in that map theres practilly no story line, its a map from a game called Ragnarök online, its fun even though it has practilly no story, when you dont have any storyline u have to have better gameplay, but its always fun to play a rpg with a good storyline. I dont know wich is the best it really depends on the map. |

For the No Story Part, I meant that there was no "SET" story and you could do whatever you wanted. It seems like I will make it have a pretty deep story after all though, but I'm not sure whether or not it will be single or multi player. Single Player would be much easier to do on what triggers the map already has. |

Guest | Yeah sure single player would be easier, but your are Warcraft Map Maker! Don't you wan't know name to be known? The best and fastest way to have that done is to post the map all over the Battle.net customs games. :D |

The easiest way to be noticed is to make a cool multiplayer map and then have everyone make their own versions of your map. (like 100 different versions) You know what maps I'm talking about... Oh and even though most maps would be harder to make multiplayer, mine would probably be 999999999999 times harder. I guess I could explain a little more about the map. The name, Oceania de Aire, pretty much gives off that it is a map covered mostly with water. You are given a regular hero and he/she can board ANY other ship that doesn't have anyone else controlling it. When the hero gets off the ship, it changes back to neutral controlled allowing it to be stolen or whatever. The more players playing the map, the harder it would be to keep track of all of the ships, heroes etc. moving in and out of 80 'ports'. Anyways, like the idea of the map? |

Guest | I need some good ideas for a map. I'm still a beginner at map making, but I learn fast. I just need some ideas for maps! |

You could try making a map based on some old Super Nintendo Game. They seem to be popular. Anyways, I have decided to make the map multiplayer with a set story although you won't be required to follow it exactly. Now I just got to remember how to make dialog arrays work properly. I got it right a few weeks ago, but who knows what problems may come up. |

Guest | You know what map was really good for Starcraft, but still sucks for Warcraft 3? Dungeons and Dragons. That map was rockin', but the Warcraft 3 version lacks style and fun value. HAHA! Hey Draco, do you have any finished maps? I'd like to try some of your finished products!:foot: |

Finished map? lol. The only one I think that I've ever actually completed was this corny multiplayer one. You can find more about it here Another map I made was a PacMan map, but I never finished that either. (I posted a version on this site, but it's only single player and one level of difficulty.) You can find it here On another note, I'm thinking of giving my partially finished map of Actraiser to someone to finish. It uses some pretty complex triggers in it. I'll probably do that in about a week or so. Well, I think I've wrote enough for one post, so I'll just post it already. |

In the words of the WWE Wrestler The Hurricane , "ThunderHAMMER has an avatar with and AXE. Whazupwitdat?" BTW I voted Single play mostly because I still dont trust B.net after all the sh#t I keep hearing about it, and it can have a better story integrated. -The Great and Immortal Lord Imperialist Insaniteus- ---------------------------And Don't forget my World Famous Cinematics Map will be done soon, probably by saturday. |

Guest | Is this better? You bastard.:gfu: You dont even HAVE an avatar. |

The reason I don't have an Avatar is because the avatar picking page is down. It's impossible to get one right now. -The Great and Immortal Lord Imperialist Insaniteus- ----------------------------To you, I say, " :cuss: " |

Guest | Havent you ever heard of URL? Or does the poor baby need his avatar handed to him on a silver platter? |

Guest | Who cares about avatars its all about ogres in any case... I think you should do a Chrono Trigger camapign it would be best!!! and it would have a good storyline :) |

Someone should make some Chrono Trigger skins :ggani: There are no females who carry guns so which unit would be used as Lucca? It would be cool to see chrono triggers models in warcraft :) |
