Do you take drawing class?

i was wondering if anyone had the initiative to take a drawing class, it's a place where you go to improve your skills, yeah, then you can draw complex ninjas stabbing polar bears.
no, seriously talking, anyone here goes to a place like that? where you have a kind of teacher that tries to improve you? i might go here, skinhead too and ghoul69 and you too!

No class ever taught me how to draw. However, an entire summer spent in a comic book store did or, at least it really, really helped.

hey... that's what I plan to do... but using only Mike Mignola's artwork...

And yeah... no class for me... even though it would remove most of the suck from my drawings.

yeah turning off the suck would be a goo idea.

If I didn't think I sucked so much myself... then I would have taken offense at that... even I'm not that blunt with myself.

well i do take a art class at school, but it has never helped me much besides giving me an easy A. so in other words, no.

bleh.. im in foundations of art. its my junior year and ive gotten all the hard AP classes out of the way, so now i wanna load up on art. but this year, they changed the schedule--- if you havent taken an art class prior to this year, you must take foundations of art. thats a major gay rule. but its really a SUPER easy A for me. in the class, we havent really drawn much.. mostly painted. but i did do one still life of a massive bunch of bottles. it didnt really help me any. drawing bottles.. whoopdi dooo...

but i expect to draw a lot next year. my teacher is recommending me for AP studio art next year(i think i said it before.. but w/e..) he said he'll give us summer assignments to draw/paint. so ill be quite productive NEXT year. im just doing half assed paintings and getting an A in foundation.

so after blabbing on an on.. the answer to ur question is a basic no.

Yeeah, I friggen hate my art teacher sooooooo much. I almost want to move to my friends school because he has a COMIC BOOK CLASS. I know, it's badass. I wish I had that class, but we have our big assed, too good for anyone, can't do computer art (boohoo) so he dropped out of college art, dip shit for a teacher.

i hate art teachers that try to go the "traditional" way. thank god my school did what other art colleges did. replace them with teachers with teachers that have some knowledge with computers. :D

coiciedntally, the place that we call the "art room" is like... a cyber cafe? or something like that? and the place usually looks like a dump. until she cleans it up but then the next day,...

it will be a mess again. :P

none of that noob stuff for me! i learn best by doing it myself... and every art teacher i've known was a psychotic b*tch and usually also a noob at art (i guess if they aren't good enough to actually be an artist, they teach art instead)

i take art class at school, but i dont learn anything from it, drawing bottles like fatuglynakedguy and fruit.... the teacher is so annoying... aah........ she gives me bad grades on all my stuff because i finish it too fast, so she thinks im not trying hard enough (even though it's better quality than most of the other stuff... not to sound like a cocky jerk, but most of the kids are just looking for an easy A...)... :<:<

and the only art class i've taken outside of school was some stupid thing that consisted of about 3 days of drawing a bowl of fruit. didnt learn anything besides that crazy art teachers love plump grapes.

Unfortunatly I have never taken art classes... Except in school which usualy result in something completely unrecognizable and un-interesting. Hopefuly I could go to art classes sometime in the near future but right now, no.

Yeah I have taken drawing class.. But i learned mostly from my parents...Those that plan taking drawing class... beware that it can be very hard first time.. but u get used to it...

i voted no, but it might be a yes, becouse i dont fully understand...

at school i do take all art related courses, and next year i'll be going to an art academy. i never took lessons outside school... i did once, but i didnt like it very much... too boring, and i was too far ahead in skill of my classmates...
