As the title said, this is a total conversion of Warcraft III. It is called Warcraft III - Modern Warfare. Anyway me and my friends have been working hard for a while and it would be good to have more people to help out. So far we have - me - programming, ai, and the UI. I can also do everything but dont have the time - David - 3d modeller and animator - Dylan - Music and sound - one other person who is map making. But it would be really good to have the following - another 3d modeller or even more - a 2d texture person who will help with UI and make icons - another map maker - and any other position i have forgotten to mention So if you think u can help out either send me an email @ [email protected] or reply here |

There is a mod alredy hosted that is a modern warefare conversion of worldwar 2. Mayby u could work with them and share models with war in iraq, just a thought ;) |

Ive got to say its still far too early for this. the only way to make the mod unpolitical would be to be have coalition and iraqi forces playable |

Ok i've decided to release more info so people understand what we are doing. This total conversion will consist of - Melee maps Different style custom games including Death Match, and C.T.F. A hard out campaign which covers the stuff that has happened. Melee Maps - These will consist of four new races. So far we have Coalition, Sadams Forces, and the two other races are being discussed. All four teams will be relatively even with there own unique units. Of course. Other Custom Game Maps - these will be maps made by us for more fun. These will feature advanced trigers etc. And be really fun, and add a new level of Warcraft playing. Campaign - This will be as realistic as possible and each team will only use units they really use in the real war. Will also be really cool. We also plan to have a cool cinematic for the Intro. This game will also feature over 50 new units, and 20 new Hero's called Commando's. We are really in need of the following - A 2d texturer that can improve the UI and make icons. A 3rd 3d Modeller that is really good at UVW unwrapping. A perosn who fully understand FrameDef files and can change them because i'm struggling to edit them. Pray tell, a question: Who's your Commandos? Since IRL they're mostly on the American/coalition side, and the commando archetypes as they exist are mostly nonexistent on the other three sides ... |

Well what i should have saidwas... the Coalition team has Commando's. And other teams will have equivalent Hero type units. We will decide what these will be called soon. The commando's are as follows... Air Commando, Ground Commando, Anti Tank Commando, Medic Commando, and Delta Force Commando. Each of these commando's supports the type of unit there name matches. These are of course bound to change. |

Well we are right now reworking the whole tech tree and its starting to look really good. And the Heroes have been remade to be more sensible and realistic. |

Yeah, we will have a really long campaign that has levels based on real events that have happened in this war. If you have any suggestions for campaign levels please speak up. We are still in need of more people to help out. If you are good at 2d textures for UI stuff like ability icons, cursors, and consoles and would like to join us just get hold of me via this post, email or pm me. Soon I will have some pictures up of our new style loading screen, and Scorescreen. Also a few models are really near completion so i will put pics up of those soon so people can see our progress. |
