Post Count at the Skin Gallery: Should it count?

Hmm I was just wonder what you guys thought. I think wc3c should turn back on the post count back on at the skin gallery. I haven't seen a lot of meaningless spam like "wow!1!111:D" The model gallery has post count activated. I think we should either turn on the post count at the skin gallery or turn off the post count at the model gallery.

Considering 90% of my posts used to be there, I never realised.. I have one of the highest post counts.

Oh hell yes. Its a good forum just like the modelling & mapping forums. Posts should count here.

Off-Topic is the only place on the forum where posts shouldn't count IMO.

I never realized it was not on. Now that I know, I'm pissed. It's just the same as any other forum. In other forums, they allow you to get post counts for post. They also get spam in those forums. NOthing makes this forum any different.

I'm happy people agree with me. Post counts were taken off a LONG time ago. It was before the first point system. It was shut down due to spam but spam and calmed downed since then.

i think it should...i just hope it doesn't breed a bunch of spammers...

I think the same.. Spammers and flamers are the ones who caused this problem.

Honestly, I think they should keep the skins gallery post count on. Just post a sticky saying that all these "wowz0rz thatz a awsum shin !!!one!" are inapropriate and should instead actually discuss the skin. Like, if you don't like somethign about it, say it. Rather than going around saying, "OMFGZ !!!!1!! SCHUUPER" Maybe even attach a penalty to those kinds of posts.

Why does post count apply in the modeling and concept forum as they both contain the same kinds of omg woot remarks? If you were to remove post count all together it would be the ideal.
