im doin good so far but whenenver i play warcraft3 my skins dont show up in the map they just convert back to the original picture without the modifications made to it. i can save the pic edit it save bak to .blp load it in import manager change the path to unit and then place it in world editor and can see my modifications(new unit i made) then when i save map and i play wc3 and play my game in the game the skin i made just reverts back to the original unit skin (like a blue tank goes back to the wood and metal original tank). plzzzz tell me why this is happening or is this normal im not sure but plzzz tell me its really bugging me! :( :( :( |

Did you change the skins name? example: You edit Jaina.blp. After editing, you save it as BlueJaina.blp. That stops them from working. Also, sometimes they don't work if you don't have the right capitals, eg: You put units\human\jaina when it should be Units\Human\Jaina. |

Tell us what skins you edited, what you named them, and where you imported them. Screenshots of Import manager would be nice. |

ok step by step: 1)i opened up my image extractor and found steamtank.blp 2)i saved it as steamtank.tga 3)opened in photoshop and edited it 4)saved it as steamtank.tga 5)opened it in image extractor and saved it as steamtank.blp 6)imported it in the import manager and changed path heres the exact words: file name type size(kb) full path steamtank.blp Image/Texture 43 Textures\Steamtank.blp (i couldnt make a screenshot of import manager but this is exact) 7)then when i place steam tank the skin is on it but when i play wc3 its not its just regular old steamtank well hope u can figure out from this |

Do you have more than one steam tank edited in your warcraft III directory?? Such as one named steamtank.blp and one named bsteamtank.blp. Note these are just made up names for example. I found out that i had problems when i had two or more skins of the same model and one had origional file name. Rename them. If this doesnt apply to your situation just disregard. |

Also, the difference between a slash ( / ) and a back slash ( \ ) can make a world of a difference :( |

wait, I guess you have TFT, did you edit the RoC steamtank skin? because the RoC and TFT models and skin paths are different. If this is true, then that is your problem. You will have to edit the TFT steam tank skin and place it in the new path which is Units\Human\WarWagon\SiegeEngine.blp |

Ya sum of the skins had updates and were changed in tft. This would be the blood elf and the sorceress and the steam tank. I 4 got what else. Just look in the tft MPQ for skins that have the same name as old 1nz if they have new paths those are the 1nz u should uz. |
