Ok, heres the deal. Make a ruined city. Make it look good. The finish date will be decided on a later date, when i think we have enough to do a poll. Tilesets to use (you can mix and match, but only from these tilesets): Dalaran Ruins Sunken Ruins Icecrown Glacier Rules: Custom Doodads not to be used: (not even the treepack) Custom Units models can be used, but one custom model per screenie Unit Skins can be used This sounds so uptight, but i want the file to be reasonably small because MY screenies are for an altered melee-style map, so that how i want the rules. Have fun! (sry i have to be so uptight about the rules...) heres some screenies of my own to get the ball rolling. |

1 custom unit per shot eh, very wierd rule, sounds like you were too lasy to remove ure custom units from ure shots, but no matter. |

I was experimenting with some archways, and came up with this for my city, still WIP. Thers a peasent somewhere in the second pic for scale |

I did this a month ago, same thing that gitlich made with the archways though.. |

I want only one custom unit or less, because sometimes units set the scenes properly, and custom models can add to that scene sometimes...for example, pic 4 is from a blood elven map im making solo, and the dude is looking over the city in a cinematic going on about its history. BTW gitlich it looks nice...but its going a bit overkill with the arches...try using the ruined variant and add some landscape. |

it looks good an all, but isnt it spost to be a RUINED City, aka, holes n stuff in it, vines creeping all over it etc? |

Its cool, But it looks a little repetitive with just tons of archways over and over again, I know your not even close to finish, but what are you going to add to make it look better, I needs different color, and maybe some gates and windows. And as pheonix said, its stupposed to be runined. But looks good for a start off. |

After He finishes the Palace im sure he can add and subtract it too make it ruined. |

isnt it suppost to be a ruined City as well? Thats just a palace (unless its going to be part of a city) |

The palace will be surounded by gardens, and have ruined bits, but thats just the main structure, the city is devided into 4 sectors by walkways, in one other sector im experimanting make a coluseum using just archways (idea stolen from emilo) and the final 2 sectors will be similar to BolideLich shots but more ordered, not quite so ruined, more like a distater has happened only recently |
