Wall Issue

I'm working on a map, and I came across a huge problem. There's a gap between the wall and lantern, and I need to know a way to either cover it up, or something to that extent to make it look decently 'pretty'. I've tried getting rid of the lamp and using another horizontal wall, but it looks very tacky. Any suggestions?

Placing a second lamp in the gap, or an end wall also looks tacky. Is there any way I can set a wall that looks exactly the same as the others except only takes one square?

Show a bigger picture of the whole square area.

Most problems like this can be solved by sizing the whole wall area down or up. Since it looked like you were trying to put the walls along the edge of a terain area, try sizing the terrain area down so that the walls fit.

Well, that could work.. but I'm not sure. As you can see, there's many walls, and there's many places where there's a gap. If I was going to size something up or down, I would need to change everything.. but I might be willing to.

Damn, this just isnt working. I don't think I can make each wall correctly fit without completely remodeling the map... I think the best way out is just to cover up the spots.. but what would be the best way to do it?

Ah - a custom doodad with the same model as the wall with the pathing of a barrel... it works, and looks perfect ;D

You could always hold 'shift' and then place the doodads too.

Yeah holding shift while placing doodads disables collision so you can place doodads wherever you want without having to worry about having gaps like that.
