Warcraft3 to avi/mpeg/etc

Does anyone know any good software for recording the screen.

We would like to bring the warcraft 3 cinematics to a wider audience - not
just those who own a copy of warcraft.

We are currently in the process of making our first warcraft cinematic, you can check it out at

We setup this website to allow people to put film, music, jpegs, etc onto the web - give people a place to display their work and also get things off their chest, ie 'rant of the week'
So far it is a bare bones site but within a week or two I should have spruced it up a bit.
Anyway if somebody could tell me of any software I'd appreciate it.

Also If people could look at our work and comment on it, as it stands it's not yet completed by far - the dialogue needs work, the mans voice needs a few filters adding, some of the timings are not quite right, we need to add music, and it actually needs finishing off - about 10% of the way through at the minute - just wanted something to post on our site.
If people want to post anything then follow the instructions on the site - you can see how we started off not so good and got better as we went along.

Hey that software works great.
Will finish this short and get working on the next, can now post them as *.avi so hopefully will be available to everybody and anybody who wants to see them.
A much better format.
