Guest | how do you turn off the ambient night and days sounds? I've tried using the action "set volume channel to %" with ambient sounds as the channel and 0 as the percent, but it doesn't do anything. In fact, none of the actions meant to alter ambient sounds seem to do anything. It's in a trigger with a bunch of other stuff which executes fine, so I know for a fact that it's working, but it just doesn't seem to turn off the sounds. No idea what could be wrong, would appreciate any help if somebody could offer it though. |

Ambient sounds are the sounds you hear in certain locations like rain falling or wind blowing... |

Guest | Hmm, I thought they were things like wolves howling at night etc...well anyway, do you know if it's possible to turn those sort of things off? |

Guest | There is an action to turn the day/night sounds off, I believe... under the "Game" series of actions. |

Guest | Nope, no option to do that under game, can set the time of day and turn the cycle on/off, but there's no way to disable the ambient sounds that come with day/night. There is an option under sounds that turns dawn/dusk sounds off, but that just refers to the initial sounds you hear when it becomes day or night, not the sounds that are played throughout day or night, which is what I'm trying to disable. |

I really wouldn't know the solution, maybe unless I looked, but can I ask under what situation that it is vital that these are off? |

Guest | TURN OFF THE SOUND... no but really you might try the sound board they seem to know a bit. :D |

Guest | The reason I want them off is because I'm trying to create a cave within a map, but I just realized last night I could simply set it to dungeon ambient sounds and that would probably get rid of it, dunno why that didn't enter my mind earlier *smacks self*. Anyway, thanks for your help guys. |
