Basic Outline Essentially the base of it is from Dark Deeds 5, except I don't intend for it to simply be Dark Deeds 6. Basically that game consists of 11 farmers, one of which turn evil at the first night and then try to kill all the other farmers throughout the rest of the game, without dying themselves. Only things in there are really a score system, a few evils, a small custom tech, and a score w/ bonuses. In mine, there is -Completely new terrain, -A smorgasbord of custom spells, largely GUI, and unless I get a JASS writer I'm going to be forced to use a massive amount of timers. -A score system with 5 levels of protection [change one digit will not work to change the score] -Custom units and tech -Unique systems, such as mining from a mountain and getting minerals and ores from different areas. -A large number of possiblities for evil. [Likely when someone turns evil there will be about 10 different possibilities] -Customizable tech-tree. Instead of everyone having the exact same units and tech, there will be buildings that branch off into different areas, and even if you destroy the building all units from that tech will die. Essentially to stop someone from getting every possible unit, and provide evil with a unique way of battling. -Icons galore. I'm a huge fan of custom icons. They tend to make spells look nicer. Alright, Bit of a progress report. So far I've been working on the map fairly regulary, terrain is going a little slow, icons are going well. Units and items are comming along pretty well. Still, I need someone who can do some model/skin editing. I doubt I'll ask for any completely new things, I could really use someone who's good at JASS, though. |

Been awhile since the last post, but I am still seeking assistance. Someone who is capable of manipulating models (mostly skins and particles) is highly needed. Still would like someone proficient with JASS. Iconer spot filled. Terrainer spots filled. Code-Breaker still wanted. Also would still love someone who can create new SFX (which I think is just particle maniuplation). |
