Tell me what do you think. This is my first "art" here, so please don't be too harsh on it :)
Thanks.

Waterfall updated, see the second pic:)

ist this also in the splash waterfall thread?
For crits, the terrain is far too flat, get the miscdata doc if you havnt already got it, then make much higher and steeper sides to the waterfall, add a few oversized rocks, and more stuff at the top of the waterfall, trees, rocks, anything to hide the river from whihc the waterfall comes.
[edit] and out something in the background, cliffs hills, forest, whatever you want, as long as its big and blocks out the veiw of the horizon

Yes, this is he same.
Well this was only a "beta" version, so I concentrated mostly on the main waterfall, so the background was left untouched. But I think I will edit that. And yes, I saw the enlarged rocks in some maps, they looked really great.
Thanks for the opinion.

That is pretty good for a beginner. The thing I didnt like was you used a lot of cliffs, you probably want to do as Gitlich said before me and remove the cliffs and then add height with the lower/raise terrain thing.

Good job.

Nice work for a newbie :D
But what you should do is adding some other doodads then just rocks and shrubs, for examples you could have fish in the water =) And as Gitlich and johnfn said, use the lower/raise thingy :)

Just out o curiosity. The raise/lower terrain thing only works well in UMSWE, right? I tried with the normal editor but I can't do anything.

No, wrong. Go look at the sticky Draco made somewhere, or just get it right here =P.

Save it in an UI folder in your warcraft directory. If you don't have a UI folder, just create one.

I just checked Draco's sticky and it does work for Mac. But if you use it in your map then you can't use custom models or skins.

Draco
Why couldn't you use custom skins? That makes no sense....

you tell me... when I used custom skins they just went back to their original blizzard skins. And when I used models they would just become shadows.

If you import a sky, set it to the right path, and enable that sky, it should show up in-game.

Haven't tried. Byt unit/buildings skins don't work or custom models. And I do set the right path since they work on maps that don't have the UI thing. Whenever I make the UI file I can't use skins/models but when I take it off. Then I can use skins and models just fine.
