I seem to be having great difficulty getting "Stand Channel" to actually activate for any models I make it for. In the Note Track I have the keys that make Stand Channel and merely have the text: "Stand Channel" ...and nothing else. Are there any other properties I am supposed to add? Is it specifically supposed to be before or after any other animation ala dissipate? Has anyone else had problems with channeling animations? Whenever a channel spell is used in game instead of playing the channel animationfor the unit it just reverts to looping the regular spell animation. Using 3dsmax 4.2 |

I think maybe you have to write stand channeling or maybe just name it something else which you can rename to stand channel in the mdl after export. |

My results after investigating are confusing at best. The Keeper of the Grove has a "Stand Channel" animation, which DOES NOT actiavte when he is doing tranquility. THe POTM doesn't even have a channel animation. The lich's death and decay channel animation is "Stand Channel" and (as cookie rightly pointed out) the ghouls cannabilise is "Stand Channel". Starfall and tranquility don't seem to activate under "Stand Channel" or "Spell Channel" when they are used... surprisingly. In conclusion, i'm just going to leave it as "Stand Channel" as I doubt anyone's really going to care very much anyway. |

It all depends on the quality of your video settings. Some animations will not be played if you have certain settings at low. |
