If you don't want to view the skin in veiwer/whatever, you can do two things. One, if you haven't changed the .blp ("thecapatain" for example) name then you can put it in you WC3 file ("C:\programfiles\warcraft" - I think?), then open the world editor and put that unit in (human\campaign\units\capatian) and the default captain skin will be replaced by your own skin. I'll write the other option later, I'm tired now. |

If you mean you want 2 use the Wc3viewer you have to (THIS IS THE WAY I DO IT) extract the model into a folder. Give the BLP the name it was origionaly and put it in folders mathching the directory it would be in the MPQ. For example... Textures/Demonhunter. That means you put the blp in a folder called textures and put it in the same folder as the extracted model. Same goes if it was Units/orc/fag. You would put the blp in the folder fag put that 1 in a folder orc and put that 1 in units and put that in the folder with the model. Got it guy! Good. -Egg |

Or you could just import the BLP of the model in Import Manager of any map, turn on "Custom path" and write in the directory tree for the unit, instead of making new folders yourself. (example: Doomguard is in the Units > Demon > Doomguard folder, and it's called doomgaurd.blp, so you would write in "Units\Demon\Doomguard\doomgaurd.blp" (yes thats right, blizzard spelt guard wrong in the .blp file, you'd think they'd know better huh?)) |
