I'm having some problems with my map crashing. It crashes at seemingly random points, giving a fatal error with memory. I looked through my triggers and didnt find anything that I thought would crash the game.. so I came here. Could anyone give me a list of triggers that can crash the game? |

It is quite likely that when you were looking for another GAME action, you selected the " GAME - Fatal crash to desktop " action by accident. Go over your triggers with a fine toothed comb, and look for any reference to the afformentioned action. Once it is removed, your crashing issues may stop. But you should ask yourself.. do you *really* WANT them to? |

Why, thank you for sharing your glorious wisdom. You know that some triggers crash the game, right? Even Blizzard has stated that warcraft 3 triggers give mapmakers a lot of power, enough to crash the game. IE: Endless loops..made one accidentally boom game crashes. So, please, if you're not going to say something useful, dont say anything. |

Please learn how to take a joke. No, sadly i dont know exactly what is causing the problem, but i know i have experienced similar issues and have simply reloaded from an earlier point to resolve them. Often, this is the only thing to do. |

It sounded more like mocking than a joke ^_^ Anyway, sorry then. I remember having occassional crashes since the beginning of the map. I really am frustrated by this....I dont see any reason for the crash. One time two people crashed at once while being attacked my a tower and a unit. Another time, I was casting a spell when the game crashed. I tested the spell later on with no crashing, so obviously that wasnt the problem. Grrrrrr :\ |

Keep posts relevant... I don't know of a complete listing of triggers that crash. Especially since it's not so much triggers that crash it, but how they're used. Like changing game speed on multiplayer will desync, but the trigger itself does work. Most likely it is an infinite loop, though. |

That's what I meant to say hehe. I'm sure that there arent any infinite loops. I barely use any loops, and I've checked the ones that I havent. :( |

there are far to many ways for a game to crash u cant name them all but trigggers that start at initiaization can cause serious problems if it is important or triggers that loop triggers that are firing so often that they never stop in our sence stuff like that |
