I had my own forum for this a while back, but some stuff in real life was happening which got me away from everythign for a couple months, but now I'm back and I've done some progress to it. I'm not going to go into full detail with this, mainly because it's not done and I dont want to make all the features well known before I public this map. Anyways, some of the unique features (maybe not so unique anymore, but thigns that arent annoyingly overused) are: Hero Towers, each tower is a hero, some can learn special abilities. Admin mode, for the admins of this map (and a limited version to regular users) which allows for TOTAL customizability of the game, you can call spawns, give money, change handicap, change the game mode, remove units, kick players. Well everything dynamically used ingame. One thing I'm proud of is the teamplay mode, where its up to 4 people on team 1, vs 4 people on team 2. In this mode you have a computer ally which does nothing but holds units for you to summon. You must research each unit before you can summon it which costs more than the first summon. There are 62 summonable units. The teamplay aspect of this is somewhat complex, the summonable units are are taken from the teams "stash" which has nothing to do with their current amount of money themselves. Money is added to the teams stash for exceptional things done by the team players (fast kill on the level, multi kill (splash) and the like). So all of the team members can spawn the units out of the same cash amount. Once it's complete I'll give a better description. Elevated terrain to make use of misses etc (every unit has a very small evasion rate) Unique pathway, each player only has 4 pathing regions and they never leave the running area. Every regular level has 5 waves of 2 units. 5 is default, and it will always spawn both units. Towers can use items, some towers cant hold items, some can hold up to 6. Many different game modes, the ones right now are: Single player, FFA, team vs team with summonable, team vs team without summonable and Single team. The game will automatically detect if there is only 1 player it will switch to single, if 1 whole team is filled it will be single team etc. Tower builder moves instantly to where you tell it to move, makes building towers easier. Towers are summoned (no wait until they are built) Sell system which gives 50% back to the owner and 25% extra of the original cost goes to the teams stash, controlled by an ability instead of a trained unit. Global and individual upgrades for towers. Some towers need to be researched. There is alot more, ask any question if you need to know. |

Looks very nice, it should make a pretty big impact for the TDs on battle net... when do you plan to have a beta for this finished? |

A month maybe, we'll have to see how the implementation of the features I want will be. I got a multi-arrow tower now, without any abilities it will have 2 or more attack animations (depending on the level of the tower and the amount of units nearby) |
