In 3ds Max 5, I select faces, and applied an appropriate map modifier. Then I went to Unwrap UVW, and edited it, and put it to the side Then I did it again, except to other faces, but in the Edit unwrap window, there was no result on the second part of selected faces. My friend said that you had to Collapse it, but after I do that, the Unwrap Coordinates go :o |

Here's the process I did to get it retarded: 1.Select the front of the chest 2.apply a planar, at x axis, and "fitted" it 3.Unrwap uvw -> edit uvw window 4.Move the side vertexes to remove stretching 5.selected the back of the chest 6. same uvw modifer; planar, x, fit 7. then I collapsed all, and opened the edit uvw window(after applying a unwrap uvw modfier) and every thing was O.o [edit] (see pic 2) I think i got it, but what's all this messy stuff that appears? |

It looks like you have done something wrong while unwrapping and/or welding. I cant really tell. If you want to, you can send me the file and i look at it/try to fix it. Greetings |
