This is mostly addressed to Whitehorn, but if anyone can answer, plz do. I've been unwrapping a model that i got for practice, but when im working, i keep on reselecting polys in new sections by accident. i was wondering if there was a way to hide the polys that i have already unwrapped as i go, or if this problems sounds completely off, tell me wtf to do! Thx in advance |

There should be a check box at the bottom of the edit screen that allows you select a whole elements at once preventing stretching. These select the whole group of poly's rather than each individual one so that you can move them around with more ease. It's called Select Element and it can take a while to find (try shrink the UVW unwrap window and move it around if you can't find it). I think that's what your were asking, anyhoo GL with it :D |

when i use select face, im selecting things in the main, perspective window. what i want is for, after i apply the selected polys to the main map, for it make the already mapped polys hide themselves.... otherwise i end up reselecting polys for different areas on the map. |
