You probably noticed all the thread about multiboard and interface by now so you should know that those two elements add a lot of originality and gameplay to the project. Im happy to say that they are both finished and implemented in the campaign file itself (not in a test map anymore). For those of aren't sure about what I am talking about, here's a list of the cool feature those things provide to the game: -Field Multiboard You can see/use items, magic and skill, you can equip and change your party and watch their complete status, you can also configure the game. -Interface All made from scratch, the interface make this mod look very different in many ways from the other just by looking to a screenshot. -Arrows control The mouse is useless to this mod, all you need to do is press one of the arrows and the ESC button on your keyboard. -Equip You can equip/unequip the weapon, helm, armor, gloves and accessory of your party. Each character has it own weapons(5 each). Some gears have magic, you can use those magic by equiping the gear until it gets mastered. -Magic Magic are abilities that can be used by every characters, they are dependant to a gear until the character has mastered it(until the character has gained enough AP to use the magic without having the gear equiped). -Skill Skill are specific to a character, those abilities are learned with level, kill or storyline. Note: Not useable on the field. -Item Item are perishable(sp?) and can be use by all characters. -Option You can now change the difficulty of the game, the battle speed, the field speed, the camera "lock" (Smooth or Locked) and probably some others things later. -Others Since several people asked me, you can now confirm your action in battle with the Right Arrow(it was with the ESC button before). This is good because you don't need to move your hand anymore in battle(lazy people :) ) The Field Battle randomiser has been remade to lower the chance of fighting 4 or 5 enemies at the same time. Now that this has been done, I can start work on the story and cinematic. This feel so great to have those time-consuming but very cool features finished. |

I have to listen to my friends when they keep telling me im too perfectionist(sp?) with my maps. I'll try not to redo anything from scratch :), just simple update and fix. Im polishing the remaining little prob my special testers had with some of the new stuffs. Now the field menu should be minimized each time a battle or a cinematic finish. But beside that, I got my anwser from the college(im accepted, weee) and I just got a weekend job so I'll be a bit more busy than usual. |

yeah he's got a point about hes a perfectionist. I recall I've told him to stop working on minor things and get to the main parts :) |

lol there's nothing wrong with being a perfectionist. would you rather fine-tune now, or wait until later? |
