Weird Editor?

Ok, I belive this is pretty weird.
In the Unit editor, on all my Heroes (Not Normal Units) their attributes, such as HP, Mana and Damage is set to 100 or 0. But in-game they have the normal amount of HP, Mana and Damage and so on. And this problem is very annoying since I'm going to make a RPG map and I need to base of my units on these Heroes, so it's very hard to make their attributes..

So I just wonder if someone else has met this problem or even know how to solve it?

Tell me if I need to explain things better.. ;)

well, i'll explain it this way... a hero whos primary atribute is Strength has
HP: Base HP (100) + 25HP per strenght (30 * 25) = 850 HP
MP: Base MP (100) + 15M per intelligence (10 * 15) = 250 MP
Damage : 2d4 (2-8) + 1 point of DMG per primary atribute (+30 in this case) = 32-38 dmg
EDIT: forgot to throw in Agility... agility mostly affects Armor and Attack Speed....while Attack Speed bonuses vary from unit to unit, i think that 3 agility points are 1 armor, so our hero will have
Armor : Base armor (2) + 1 point of armor per 3 agility (15/3=5) = 7 armor
so, i guess this hero resembles Tauren Chieftain, altho the values are imaginary (from my head)
i don't know if you already knew this, but i you didn't, this is your problem :)

Ah, Ok I see.. But is there any way to make it "normal", because I think you don't have this issue?

i didn't quite understand what you mean by "making it normal" :)
if you mean to make Hero units look like regular units in Unit editor ? - no
hero units must be edited the way they are, and with the formula i gave you it should be no trouble calculating each and every one of those heros....

Ok, I'm just woundering, since the heroes was like "all the other units" some time ago.

well... you could make them not use any attributes, and set everything to how you want it to be.. but that destroys the purpose of heros.

if you want it "Normal" it can't be a hero,
since you're making an RPG map, make units instead w/ upgrades

If you want to base your RPG heroes on actual heroes because you want them to have skill points, but you want their HP and mana to be fixed, then just change the "stats - strenght per level" "agility per level" and "intelligence per level" to 0.

Also, you don't get EXACTLY 1 armor per 3 agility, but that's close enough, in reality you get 0.3 armor per agility point. Also, when calculating armor, you need to substract 2, so a lvl1 mountain king has 1 (base armor) + 11*0.3 (agility) - 2 = 2.3
