Problem

ok i almost finished a map i was making then i decided to add some music so i imported and yada yada yada then i pressed save then when i did it showed the loading bar thing load then it said Script Error
I think it said
Line "=" 1
Line "=" 2 etc.
then is kept going and i couldnt even run the map
it only has problems with that map all the others save and crap but its only that map can anyone help me?

you got some script erros... try to disable your triggers (to save you map) then later you'll need to fix the errors.

I think I've encountered the same problem. Check the sound variable of the music. I once imported a song with a long filename (and possibly some weird characters) and also got a script error. I renamed the sound variable to something shorter and simpler and the problem went away. Hope this helps.

This is a relativly common problem, but there are far too many misconceptions about it. BlackDick was wrong for once, as it has nothing to do with your triggers. The World Editor is picky as hell when it comes to MP3s, and certain FORMATS of MP3s it won't use. When you import them, the WE goes all stupid on you and tells you that the error it's getting is caused by the triggers. This error also happens if you run WE using a no-CD crack (hey, I got three computers, lots of friends, and I wanted to play multiplayer without having to buy 3 CDs. Blizz should've put in spawn copy ability). I'm guessing that the whole "Trigger Script Error" is a default error message when the WE doesn't know what is really wrong. Kinda like "ITH" from Diablo II, only this one just sucks al the way around.

Oh yeah, to fix the problem you're going to have to remove the bad MP3. Try to find another copy using a different format (File size will be different).
